from the series "His Flowers: Kobzar"
This work is part of a larger cycle of twelve paintings, each corresponding to a month of the year. Together, the series forms a complete temporal structure.
Chestnut blossoms, associated with endurance and memory, becomes a metaphor for time lived and experienced. Across the paintings, the transition between the four seasons unfolds almost imperceptibly — through subtle changes in color, density, and movement.
Individually, each work represents a distinct moment; collectively, they construct a full cycle. The gradual accumulation of change mirrors the way time shapes identity: through variation and continuity.
The year becomes a metaphor for personal becoming, and the paintings together offer a meditation on wholeness, duration, and the quiet architecture of growth.
